Media Blends - a media solutions agency operating across Egypt, UAE, and KSA - has joined forces with YAS Island and the real estate developer, MIRAL to roll out a new and exclusive DOOH network across YAS Island and Al Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
Split into two phases, the initiative brings to the market a strong and effective digital screen network that will help advertisers reach millions of travelers and residents visiting the islands every year.
In fact, according to the latest official statistics, Abu Dhabi is home to around 2.9 million people (2016 estimate). 22.3 million travelers passed by Abu Dhabi Airport in 2018 and 11.35 million international visitors to Abu Dhabi were recorded in 2019. In the same year, 518,000 cruise passengers visited the city and 5.1 million hotel stays were documented.
The new YAS Island DOOH network boasts 35 multiple-size and top-notch digital screens that have been carefully pinned by Media Blends to cover the main attractions on the island, including YAS Bay, Etihad Arena, Hilton YAS hotel, YAS Marina Circuit, YAS Mall and Ferrari World.

It is noteworthy that YAS Island includes over 150 restaurants, 4 theme parks and attractions, 10 hotels, 3056 hotel rooms and apartments, and over 19,500 sqm of business spaces. In the second phase of the project, Media Blends will be rolling out over 60 highly advanced screens across Al Saadiyat Island, another major landmark in Abu Dhabi.
