Actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas is set to be named the global brand ambassador for luxury watchmaker Rolex, according to a report by ADWEEK.
The development is notable because Chopra Jonas has served as a brand ambassador for luxury jewellery and watch brand Bulgari since 2021, making her one of the few celebrities associated with two major luxury brands in the segment.
According to the report, discussions regarding the partnership intensified earlier this year when Chopra Jonas’ long-time manager, Anjula Acharia, met Rolex’s Global Director of Communication and Image, Arnaud Boetsch, in Los Angeles to finalize the agreement.
Rolex had initially considered featuring the actor in an India-focused campaign. However, the discussions eventually led to a broader global ambassadorial role, the report said.
Chopra Jonas, who has built a successful career in both Bollywood and Hollywood, has been associated with major international brands since the early years of her career. ADWEEK described the upcoming Rolex partnership as one of the most significant milestones in her advertising portfolio.
