UAE-based AI search company Liplyn has launched Liplyn Academy, offering online and in-person training programmes to help organisations across the Middle East adapt to the growing role of AI in search and digital discovery.

Based at Liplyn’s Dubai office, the academy will provide courses in AI Visibility, Vibe Coding and Agentic AI for businesses, government organisations and professionals.

Announcing the launch, Liplyn founder Luke Liplijn said AI assistants would fundamentally change how people search for information and services.

“We foresee that within five years, 80% of the apps on our mobile phones will be replaced by AI assistants, and that within a year the Google search bar will no longer exist as we have known it for years,” he said.

Liplijn said companies must shift their focus from traditional search rankings to becoming trusted sources for AI systems.

“The question is no longer only: are you at the top of Google?” he said. “The new question is: are you mentioned, cited and trusted by AI systems? That requires a different way of thinking about content, authority, technology and reputation.”

He added: “There’s much talk now about ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Claude, but there are hundreds of other AI systems being used by country, by type of search query or as AI assistants. If you want to remain visible as a company, or if you are a government that wants people to find the right information, you need to move with this development.”

According to the company, the academy will also cover AI regulation, ethics and privacy, and forms part of Liplyn’s broader strategy to help organisations remain visible and competitive in an AI-driven search ecosystem.
