As residents across the UAE prepare for the Eid Al Adha holidays, many are turning to TikTok for ideas on where to eat, visit, and spend time during the long weekend.
From hidden cafés and trending restaurants to cultural attractions and family-friendly experiences, TikTok creators are increasingly shaping how people discover places across the UAE. Through hashtags such as #WhereToVisit and #WhereToEat, the platform is emerging as a community-driven city guide for Eid outings and staycations.
For food enthusiasts, #WhereToEat features recommendations from creators including Haya Kaabar (@thedubailist), Reza Kiani (@feedkiani), and Arezoo Muslemi (@misszuzucchini), who regularly showcase dining destinations across the country. Their videos highlight trending restaurants, specialty coffee spots, viral dishes, and hidden gems.
Among the places featured are popular burger chain Pickl, taco outlet El Primo, and the long-standing shawarma destination Al Mallah, along with a range of homegrown restaurants serving different cuisines.
For those looking to travel or explore, #WhereToVisit offers inspiration for beach trips, road journeys, cultural experiences, and family outings across the UAE. Creators such as Yousif Mohammed (@yousif.mohammd1122), Danah Alshayji (@danaindxb), and Rafeez Ahmed (@tableeforone) share recommendations for staycations and hidden locations around the country.
Their content frequently features destinations including Ras Al Khaimah, Al Marjan Island, Palm Jumeirah, Fujairah, and heritage areas in Old Dubai.
“What makes these recommendations feel so relevant is that they are powered by the TikTok community,” the statement said. “Creators are sharing the kind of entertaining and authentic tips that take people from discovering a spot on their For You feed to adding it to their Eid weekend plans.”
The platform said users are increasingly relying on creator-led recommendations to plan family outings, discover new restaurants, and explore different parts of the UAE during the Eid break.
