LinkedIn has announced that the UAE is one of the three EMEA markets in which agency professionals can be awarded for publishing on the platform. The ‘Agency Publisher of the Year’ initiative aims to uncover the best writers and thought-leaders working for media and advertising agencies in the UAE. The winner will be promoted across LinkedIn and social media, putting their profile in front of a potential audience of 380m LinkedIn members and beyond.
Jake Thomas, head of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, MENA, says in a press statement: “Agency professionals in the UAE represent a small global village, and we are very excited about the wealth of experiences that we will begin to see published. Access to thought-provoking content from industry leaders can be very beneficial to new entrants into the industry, and it also serves to establish and strengthen the author’s personal brand.”
To be considered for the award, members must publish blog posts on LinkedIn between now and December 11 and include the #agencypublisher hashtag in their posts’ headline. In December, LinkedIn will announce the professional whose posts on LinkedIn has had the most engagement based on views, likes, shares, and comments.
One winner will be picked from the three participating regions: North America, Europe/the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. In Europe and the Middle East, the eligible regions are the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
