Initiative Dubai has won the media buying and planning duties for Honor 6 Plus Huawei’s first e-commerce only brand in the region, following a multi-agency pitch. The mandate covers media planning and buying, including digital for 2015.
“Honor is a sub brand of Huawei, focusing the generation of the promising internet youth” says Mr. Sun Baigong, the head of online sales in consumer BG, Huawei Middle East, in a press statement. “’Honor’ emphasizes the connection between the brand spirit and users, leverages the high quality and price, mainly focusses on Internet users. We have launched Honor 6 plus as our first e-commerce brand in the Middle East in partnership with Souq.com the biggest e-commerce platform in the region. We were impressed with Initiative’s digital capabilities, local understanding of our consumers and belief in the brand. We look forward to working with them and establishing Honor’s vision to bring more people to enjoy the wonderfully connected digital world.”
