Luma AI to Launch Full Arabic Interface for Its Creative Platform

Luma AI is localizing its entire Luma Agents platform into Arabic, not just prompts and outputs, but the full interface: navigation, menus, workflow tools. Announced at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, it’ll be the first non-English interface Luma has shipped, and the company is calling it the first native-Arabic creative AI platform built for the Saudi and wider MENA market.

The move follows Luma’s partnership with HUMAIN and the opening of its regional HQ in Riyadh — so this isn’t a one-off localization, it’s part of a bigger regional push.

Jason Day, Luma’s Head of EMEA, framed it as community-driven: “The process of localizing the interface has been guided by the creative community, for the creative community in the Kingdom. Providing Luma Agents in Arabic enables the 400 million Arabic speakers worldwide to be prolific – going from first idea through to the finished outcome without the friction of working in multiple languages.”

For brands and agencies building creative operations in the Gulf, language-native tooling isn’t a nice-to-have — it changes who on a team can actually produce work, not just direct it. Full Arabic UI lowers the barrier for in-market creative talent to work natively inside AI production tools rather than translating around them, and it signals AI platforms are starting to compete on regional depth, not just model quality. Worth watching whether this pushes rivals (Runway, OpenAI, etc.) to follow with their own localized interfaces for MENA.
