The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) has announced that Hend Al Otaiba, Founder and CEO of HAO Strategies, former UAE Ambassador to France, and MEPRA Fellow, will deliver the opening keynote address at the 11th edition of the UAE Leadership Majlis on June 23 in Abu Dhabi.
The annual forum will bring together more than 100 senior communications professionals and industry leaders under the theme, “Emerging Stronger: Shaping What Comes Next.” Discussions will focus on the role of communications in helping organisations navigate uncertainty and build resilience amid regional and global change.
Speaking ahead of the event, Hend Al Otaiba said: “At a time marked by heightened uncertainty and a rapidly evolving global landscape, the UAE continues to demonstrate resilience and confidence. In an environment where perceptions increasingly shape realities, communication carries a profound responsibility to maintain trust, provide clarity, and communicate with credibility. MEPRA Chairman and Northbourne Advisory CEO Justin Kerr-Stevens said the forum comes at a critical time for the communications industry.

Other speakers include representatives from Mubadala, G42, CARMA, Ford Middle East, McKinsey & Company, Weber Shandwick MENAT, Al-Futtaim Group and Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.
The event will take place at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas in Abu Dhabi.
