Google unveiled a series of artificial intelligence updates at Google I/O 2026, including the rollout of new Gemini AI products and services across the Arab World.
The company said it is introducing Gemini Omni, a new AI model combining Gemini’s reasoning capabilities with content creation tools, initially focused on video generation.
Google said Gemini Omni allows users to combine images, audio, video, and text inputs to generate videos grounded in Gemini’s real-world knowledge. Users can also edit videos through conversational prompts.
The first model in the Omni family, Gemini Omni Flash, is being rolled out to the Gemini app, Google Flow, and YouTube Shorts in the Arab World.
Google said Omni allows users to transform existing videos, refine edits across multiple prompts without losing the original scene context, and generate videos from combinations of images, drawings, and other reference materials.
The company added that all videos created with Omni include SynthID digital watermarks.
AI-Powered Search Box Rolls Out Across Supported Markets
Google also announced what it described as the biggest upgrade to its Search box in more than 25 years, redesigning it with AI-powered capabilities.
The company said the new intelligent AI Search box dynamically expands to allow users to enter more detailed prompts and uses AI-generated suggestions that go beyond traditional autocomplete functions.
Users can search using text, images, files, videos, or Chrome tabs as inputs while continuing to receive conventional Search results, Google said.
The feature is beginning to roll out in countries and languages where AI Mode is available, including markets across the Arab World.
Gemini 3.5 Flash Targets Coding And Workflow Tasks
Google said Gemini 3.5 Flash is now available across its products and APIs in the Arab World.
The company said the model improves on Gemini 3.1 Pro across most benchmarks, particularly in coding, long-horizon tasks, and real-world workflows.
According to Google, Gemini 3.5 Flash delivers output speeds four times faster than other frontier AI models while maintaining high performance levels.
The company also said Gemini 3.5 Pro, which is currently being used internally, will launch next month.
Google Expands SynthID Verification Partnerships
Google said millions of users are already using its SynthID detector through the Gemini app to verify AI-generated content.
The company announced expanded Content Credentials verification across products, including Search and Chrome, allowing users to determine whether content originated from AI systems or cameras and whether it has been edited using generative AI tools.
Google said additional industry partners are adopting SynthID, including OpenAI, NVIDIA, ElevenLabs, and Ka-Kow.
The company said the partnerships aim to expand transparency standards for AI-generated content.
Android XR And Shopping Features Receive Updates
Google also highlighted updates to Android XR, including audio-enabled smart glasses that provide spoken assistance and glasses featuring small in-lens displays.
The company announced Universal Cart, an AI-powered shopping tool that works across Google products and merchants, allowing users to add products while browsing Search or using the Gemini app.
Google said Universal Cart will launch in the United States this summer and is expected to expand to additional Google services, including YouTube and Gmail.
The company also introduced Antigravity 2.0, a standalone desktop application designed to manage groups of autonomous AI agents for various tasks.
