Banijay Group and RedBird IMI have completed the merger of Banijay Entertainment and All3Media, creating what the companies describe as the world’s largest independent television production business.
The deal, first announced in March 2026, combines Banijay Entertainment’s international production network with All3Media’s presence in major English-language markets. The merged company will be headquartered in London and operate across 25 territories.
Banijay Group and RedBird IMI will each own a 50% stake in the combined entertainment business, with Banijay Group consolidating the company.
The new group will bring together content production, live events, digital and new media operations. It will oversee a catalogue of more than 265,000 hours of programming, including globally recognised titles such as MasterChef, The Traitors, Big Brother, Survivor, Race Across the World and Peaky Blinders.

Based on 2025 results, the combined business would have generated more than €4.3 billion in revenue and over €700 million in adjusted EBITDA. The company expects to achieve around €50 million in cost synergies within a year of completing the transaction.
Jeff Zucker, Chief Executive Officer of RedBird IMI, has been appointed Chairman of Banijay Entertainment. Marco Bassetti will continue as Chief Executive Officer, while former All3Media CEO Jane Turton will serve as Deputy CEO.
The company said the merger would strengthen its ability to create and expand intellectual property across scripted and unscripted programming, sports, digital content, live events and immersive experiences.
Commenting on the merger, François Riahi, CEO of Banijay Group, said: “This merger marks a defining milestone in Banijay Group’s history.
“Banijay Entertainment and All3Media are highly complementary businesses with exceptional creative assets and global ambition.
“We are delighted to partner with RedBird IMI for the next phase of development of Banijay Entertainment, to make together Banijay Entertainment the winning global leader of the content industry, both on and off the screens.”
