Limelight Networks, a digital content delivery company, today announced the opening of its office in Dubai Internet City, emphasizing its commitment in the MENA region.
“Reliable, high performance delivery of digital content is critical to the success of organizations doing business online. The content delivery networking (CDN) industry is seeing unprecedented growth due to the increase in online video services such as Over The Top (OTT) and iTV, the increasing use of video on enterprise websites, and the need for fast website load time and responsiveness,” says Ingo Lalla, the regional director MENA at Limelight Networks in a press statement. “With our new office, we can deepen our already established customer relationships and extend our services to better serve customers in the MENA region”
Ingo Lalla, newly appointed managing director for MENA, joined Limelight Networks in January 2012. As region director for Central Europe, he was in charge of planning and implementing Limelight’s growth and expansion strategy. Since 1997 he has lead the region in providing video and eCommerce solutions for global players in the media, entertainment, and enterprise sectors.
Ingo Lalla joined Limelight from Bertelsmann, where he served as vice president business development at Arvato Middle East Sales. Prior to Arvato, he served at Entriq, Inc. an online video platform provider.
