Global online food ordering platform Hellofood, active in more than 45 countries, has officially launched its mobile application in Lebanon.
The launch event was held at the Golden Tulip hotel on November 13, and was intended to officially announce the emergence of Hellofood from the soft launch phase after encouraging results in the Lebanese market within the past six months.
“Since May 2014, Hellofood has been showing very promising order results, being able to partner up with more than 120 restaurants,” says Alex Roth, country manager for Hellofood Lebanon. “This is a very encouraging sign that the Lebanese market is ripe for innovation and the customer value that Hellofood provides”.
For restaurants, Hellofood promotes visibility in a mobile and digital world, and provides up-to-date interfaces as technology evolves. For diners, the app provides the convenience of ordering food online via the web or through the app. Investments from iMENA and Mobily Ventures have promoted Hellofood’s presence in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Qatar.
