Condé Nast Middle East has named Rana Hatem as Chief Business Officer. With over 18 years of experience in publishing, media, and communications across the MENA region, Rana joins the team at a pivotal moment, as Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East officially become part of Condé Nast’s owned portfolio in Dubai. These titles now sit alongside Architectural Digest Middle East and Condé Nast Traveller Middle East, further solidifying the company’s leadership in the regional media landscape. As Chief Business Officer, Rana will be responsible for the revenue across Condé Nast Middle East.
As part of this significant transition, the new websites for Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East have officially gone live, offering a dynamic digital presence and showcasing the unparalleled storytelling and content that define these iconic brands. Print editions are set to follow later this quarter, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both titles under Condé Nast’s ownership.
Most recently, Rana served as Group Commercial Director at Vogue Arabia, where she led the commercial operations, drove revenue growth initiatives and built strategic partnerships. Prior to this, she held senior roles at Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) and MOJEH Magazine, which sharpened her expertise in revenue diversification, commercial success, and brand strategy. Her proven track record in developing successful go-to-market commercial strategies, optimising revenue streams, and cultivating high-performing teams makes her a natural fit for her new role.
