Global marketing and talent consultancy Ampersand, which launched late last year, has partnered with London-based IPA to offer the “world’s best” advertising and marketing training across the MENA region, says the company in a statement.
Ampersand was founded by Nick Clements and Justin McGuire, COO and CEO respectively, of the parent company MCG& Group. The talent consultancy offers L&D, search, strategic advisory and M&A services.
This move focuses on its L&D aspect, as the IPA is widely recognized as the world’s most influential professional body for those working in advertising and marketing communications and all of its training programmes are written by highly experienced industry practitioners.
In a statement, Clements says, “The depth, breath, and quality of these training qualifications are globally renowned and we are delighted to now be able to offer the IPA’s most important programmes to the MENA region.’’
Patrick Mills, director of membership and professional development, adds, “We are delighted to have partnered with Ampersand to help make the IPA’s industry-leading qualifications and courses available in the MENA region. The IPA’s programme sets the standard for learning and development in the industry and we are proud to have awarded over 20,000 certificates in 80+ countries so far. We are delighted to help play a pivotal role in raising industry standards to the benefit of agency and client communities and Ampersand’s knowledge and connections in the MENA region will enable more learners to take advantage of our offering.”
