Dubai-based ride-hailing platform Zed has launched a new digital wallet that offers users 15% cashback on every ride, up to AED 20 per journey, as part of its new campaign, “Ride. Earn 15%. Repeat.”
The initiative is available to both new and existing users and is aimed at rewarding commuters who use the platform regularly. Cashback earned from rides is automatically credited to the newly introduced Zed Wallet within the app and can be used for future trips.
According to the company, the wallet is intended to create a long-term rewards ecosystem for daily commuters, including those travelling to work, connecting to the Metro, running errands, or making leisure trips across the city.
Zed said frequent users could accumulate substantial savings over time, with cashback potentially amounting to hundreds of dirhams each month.

The company said the move comes amid growing demand for services that offer value beyond convenience. It added that the initiative strengthens its position as a Dubai-grown mobility platform focused on supporting residents’ everyday transportation needs.
“As a homegrown platform, we want commuters to feel recognized and connected to something bigger than just transport,” said Badr Al Ghurair, CEO of Zed. “The Zed Wallet and earning initiative were built to reward the movement that powers Dubai itself. That is what makes this more than just cashback, it is a mobility ecosystem designed around the people who keep the city running.”
Zed said the cashback offering is among the most rewarding ride-hailing incentives currently available in Dubai, with the 15% cashback rate exceeding what is commonly offered across the sector.
Abhinav Patwa, Executive Vice President and Head of Zed, said the company wanted to simplify loyalty rewards for commuters.
“Everyday commuting in Dubai happens at enormous scale, but very few mobility platforms are designed to actively reward that behaviour. We wanted to simplify the ride-hailing loyalty process entirely. With the Zed Wallet, the value earned becomes immediate and visible after every journey. That changes the psychology of commuting because the ride itself starts working for the rider,” he said.
The Zed Wallet and the “Ride. Earn 15%. Repeat.” campaign are now available across Dubai for both taxi and premium ride categories.
