Sumwon Studios has named Dubai as its global headquarters, marking its next phase of expansion as the company targets $1 billion in revenue by 2028.
The digital-first fashion group, founded in 2023, reported revenue of $300 million in 2025 following rapid growth across Europe and North America. The company now employs more than 150 people globally and is expanding its presence in the Middle East while scaling operations from its Dubai base.
The decision to anchor its headquarters in Dubai underscores the emirate’s role as a gateway to international markets, supply chains and talent, the company said.
A new 120,000 square foot facility will serve as a central hub for operations, design and content creation, enabling faster product cycles and tighter control across its portfolio of digitally native brands. From Dubai, the company plans to deepen its footprint in existing markets and accelerate expansion into new regions, including India.
Founder and Chief Executive Nitin Passi said Dubai had been central to the company’s growth, citing its connectivity and access to talent as key advantages.
Operating at the intersection of fashion and technology, Sumwon uses real-time data to guide product development and inventory decisions, aiming to reduce reliance on traditional forecasting methods.
The company’s revenue is currently distributed across Europe (about 45%), North America (30%), the GCC (10%) and Asia and Latin America (10%).
The move aligns with the UAE’s broader push to position itself as a hub for innovation, the digital economy and creative industries, as it seeks to attract globally scaling businesses.
