StickyGinger has been named the official public relations partner for the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) in the GCC region.

With immediate effect, the agency will act as RAKTDA’s communications representative across the Gulf, handling media relations, responding to press enquiries and managing strategic communications in the region.

RAKTDA is spearheading efforts to expand the emirate’s tourism ecosystem and position Ras Al Khaimah as a leading global destination for both leisure and business travellers. The authority has set an ambitious goal of attracting 3.5 million visitors annually by 2030, while also focusing on sustainable investment opportunities and improving residents’ quality of life.

The appointment comes as Ras Al Khaimah builds on record tourism performance. In 2025, the emirate recorded its strongest year yet, welcoming 1.35 million overnight visitors — a 6 per cent year-on-year increase. Tourism revenues rose by 12 per cent over the same period.

Growth momentum is expected to accelerate further with the planned launch of the Wynn Al Marjan resort in 2027, set to become the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort.

StickyGinger, which will now lead strategic communications for RAKTDA in the GCC, is recognised for developing campaigns designed to generate wide-reaching impact and strengthen brand engagement with key stakeholders. The agency integrates creative strategy, PR, social media and digital expertise to help brands amplify their narratives.

Earlier in 2026, StickyGinger was also appointed as the social media agency for Marks & Spencer Middle East and Watsons GCC, both part of the Al-Futtaim Group portfolio.

In addition, the agency secured the PR mandate for the fourth edition of BRED Abu Dhabi and was appointed communications partner for Dubai Autodrome, overseeing outreach for the venue’s 2025–2026 season.
