Dubai-based public relations agency Cameo Communications has rebranded as Cameo Performance, shifting its positioning toward technology-enabled public relations focused on measurable business outcomes.
The agency, founded six years ago, said the rebrand formalises a shift that began in 2025 toward measuring public relations through results rather than media visibility alone.
Cameo Performance said its offering is built around AI visibility, performance-based public relations and proprietary measurement tools. Its clients include companies in technology, software, fintech, healthcare, real estate and food and beverage across the United Arab Emirates.
A key part of its model is a pay-for-results structure under which clients pay for earned media coverage secured rather than a fixed monthly retainer. The agency said the model is focused on earned rather than paid media.
The company has also developed CoverageIQ, a platform designed to measure the performance of media coverage after publication. Its metrics include readership, referral traffic to clients’ websites and whether coverage appears in AI-powered search and answer platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews.
“Cameo Communications was the right name for who we were when we started. Cameo Performance is the right name for who we are now,” founder Lara Geadah said in a statement.
The agency said artificial intelligence visibility has become a central part of its PR strategies as businesses increasingly use AI-powered tools to research products and companies. It said campaigns are now planned with visibility across AI search and answer platforms in mind.
Alongside its existing PR services, Cameo Performance is introducing LinkedIn campaigns targeting founders and executives, influencer partnerships aimed at business audiences, and services designed to generate leads and demo bookings. Its event and activation work will also include investor and stakeholder events, as well as product-focused activations.
The agency’s recent client work includes Keyper, YP Club, Tarjama, Cercli, Deed, Delicrew, Seez, Mezza and CNTXT AI, it said.
The rebrand includes a new visual identity, with the agency moving to a darker aesthetic as it positions itself as a data-backed growth partner rather than a traditional communications agency.
Geadah said the agency’s focus was on what happens after media coverage is published, including whether it contributes to business objectives such as sign-ups, investor interest or credibility with target audiences.
The company said the rebrand does not replace its existing services. It will continue to offer traditional public relations retainers, social media management and general event support alongside its performance-based offerings.
