Saudi grocery retailer Panda Retail has partnered with Spike Media Saudi and commerce technology company GoWit to expand its e-commerce retail media business and help brands reach online shoppers more effectively.
Under the partnership, Spike Media Saudi, which operates locally as GoSpike and is GoWit’s strategic partner in the Kingdom, will provide local market expertise, advertiser relationships and advertising operations support. GoWit will supply the technology infrastructure, including campaign automation, AI-powered bidding and real-time performance measurement.
Panda operates more than 200 stores in Saudi Arabia, with over 14 million online shoppers and one million monthly active app visits. The partnership aims to use this reach to attract more advertisers, manage larger volumes of advertising campaigns and expand the retailer’s digital media operations.
“As Panda continues its digital transformation, E-commerce Media gives us new opportunities to connect brands with our customers in relevant and measurable ways,” said Ahmad Chehade, chief marketing officer of Panda Retail.
Osama Bukhari, CEO of Spike Media Saudi, said the collaboration would combine Panda’s digital presence with the company’s local market knowledge and relationships with advertisers to create more opportunities for brands to reach consumers across Saudi Arabia.
GoWit’s platform will enable Panda to use its first-party customer data for advertising, automate campaigns and measure their performance. The integrated platform is designed to support growth in advertising demand and help the retailer manage its expanding digital media inventory.
The partnership comes as Saudi Arabia’s retail media market expands alongside the growth of digital commerce. According to Grand View Research, the country’s retail media networks market is projected to grow from $554.3 million in 2025 to $1.15 billion by 2033.
Emrah Adsan, CEO of GoWit, said the partnership would bring together technology, local market expertise and omnichannel media capabilities to help Panda develop a more scalable and measurable retail media business.
