Abu-Dhabi-based 9Yards Communications has appointed communications industry veteran Tala Abu Taha as its new Chief Growth Officer, the company announced on Thursday.
Abu Taha brings more than 25 years of experience in public relations, public affairs, strategic communications, and business development. Before joining 9Yards Communications, she held senior leadership positions at several regional and international agencies, where she led growth initiatives across multiple communications disciplines.
Her previous experience includes serving as Communications Director for Qatar Foundation through BLJ Worldwide. She has also worked in public diplomacy and governance with Aktis Strategy in the UK and Coffey International in the US.
In her new role, Abu Taha will oversee the company’s regional and international growth strategy. She will support the expansion of 9Yards Communications’ offices in London, Cairo, and New York while strengthening strategic partnerships with clients.
She will also help develop the company’s service offerings to meet the evolving priorities and requirements of public and private sector clients across regional and international markets.
The appointment is part of the company’s efforts to expand its presence and strengthen its growth strategy across key global markets.
