With an illustrious career spanning two decades, Raul Palhares has earned his place as a global creative leader. Originating from Brazil, his professional journey has taken him through some of the world's most prestigious creative and advertising agencies, including JWT, Leo Burnett Lisbon, MullenLowe Singapore, FP7 McCann-Erickson Dubai, and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners San Francisco. Renowned for his ability to craft thought-provoking content deeply embedded in cultural insights, Palhares led award-winning campaigns for iconic brands such as AB InBev, Unilever, Adobe, BMW, and McDonald's. His work has garnered accolades from Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, and Spikes Asia.
Germán brings a diverse and inspiring background to VICE Media Group. Following a successful 20-year career in football, he transitioned seamlessly into design, advertising, and visual arts, quickly establishing himself in the industry. With over 13 years of experience at leading global agencies like Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, and Y&R, he has revitalized brands with his unique artistic vision.
Having lived and worked around the globe—from Colombia to Berlin—Germán offers a rich, multicultural perspective in his new role. His innovative work has been celebrated at Cannes Lions, D&AD, and LIA, highlighting his dedication to pushing creative boundaries.
Taking their creativity outside of their roles at VICE, they both are committed to passion projects in their personal time. Germán’s “Our Moving POV” explores the intersection of cycling, outdoor activity and his dynamic lifestyle, whilst Raul’s penchant for travel has enriched his understanding of different cultures worldwide.
