Tarek Miknas’ outlook for 2016

Tarek Miknas,CEO, FP7 MENA, on what’s the best and worst thing that can happen in 2016, and his mantra to make it through the year.

What’s the best thing that can happen in 2016?

The best thing in 2016 would be greater political stability in our region. This is the last year for the Obama administration and, should the right policies be set in support of sustainable peace and economic stability in our region, there will be greater confidence, which will allow us to continue taking our industry to new heights.

What’s the worst thing that can happen in 2016?

It would be a continued decline in oil prices. Since our region is so economically dependent on oil, the lower the prices, the lower the government spending, the lower the private sector spending and the more cuts on marketing budgets.

Mantra: Everything starts and ends with The Work. Get that right, put a lot of love into everything you do, and the rest will fall into place.
