Who made the cut this year?
The 14th edition of the MENA Effie Awards attracted over 800 entries from international and regional brands and agencies. The jury presented 150 professionals from MENA’s marketing and advertising sector, who went through two strenuous rounds of examining all entries.
241 entries have been shortlisted for the final round of judging that is scheduled to take place on the 1st and 2nd of November. The grand jury will review the shortlisted work to compile the winners for this year.
Scheduled to take place on the 22nd of November, 2023, at the exquisite Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE, this year’s winners, like every year, will be announced at an Oscars-themed gala ceremony.
Commenting on the shortlist reveal, Sahar Rafique, Managing Director of the hosting company, NordStella, said, "This year, we have witnessed a notable 25% increase in the volume of entries. We take immense pride in observing the participation of new brands and agencies dedicated to crafting outstanding case studies. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our esteemed jury members for their diligent commitment as jurors, not only for their time but also for ensuring equitable and impartial judging processes. A resounding congratulations to all those who have successfully made it to the shortlist."
