Edmond Moutran, Founder and Chairman of Memac Ogilvy, has passed away at age 77.
A pioneer of the region's advertising industry and one of its most beloved and successful figures, Moutran had received Lebanon's National Order of the Cedar medal in 2014, in appreciation of his remarkable contributions to the country's reputation in the world and his role in the communications industry. This is but one of his many accomplishments.
In 2017, he had stepped down from his role as CEO, which he had held since the agency’s inception in 1984.
