Active Public Relations & Marketing Communications (Active PR) has strengthened its network in the Middle-East, adding an office in Libya, Tripoli as a result of increasing demand from clients to tap into the business opportunities offered by the steadily recovering market. Active PR now operates in four locations via partners in Egypt, KSA, Turkey and Libya.
The Libyan office is headed-up by Fisal El Giloushi, who holds experience spanning across a wide range of B2B and B2C sectors, and who assumes the Active PR General Manager role in the country. “The Libyan office is the result of 4 years of work developing contacts, visiting the market and our desire to add value to our existing clients as well as create new opportunities. We are really pleased to see the hard work starting to pay off already in this respect” commented Louay Al Samarrai, one of Active PR’s managing directors.
“We have been successfully supporting our clients and delivering regionally in 11 different and culturally disparate markets across the Middle East & Levant; as well as providing targeted exposure on an international scale via our global partners. But there was a gap to fill in the coverage of both regional and international networks in markets like Libya, Tunisia and Algeria” added Al Samarrai. “The gap is now partly closed”, he punctuated.
Active PR’s portfolio of clients includes Xerox, SITA, Riverbed, JPMorgan Private Bank and SafeNet. The agency was established in 2003 in the UAE. Active PR Libya is up and running as of January 1,2014.
