Amazon UAE has announced the return of its annual Prime Day shopping event, offering seven days of exclusive deals and discounts for Prime members from June 24 to June 30.
The online retail giant said members will have access to millions of deals across more than 30 product categories, including groceries, electronics, home and kitchen products, beauty, fashion, and Amazon devices. Customers can also shop discounted products available through Amazon Bazaar.
According to a new HarrisX survey commissioned by Amazon, 94% of UAE shoppers consider free delivery the most valuable membership benefit. The survey also found that 81% of respondents enjoy finding good deals, while 74% said securing discounts makes them feel like smart shoppers.
Stefano Martinelli, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, said Prime Day combines fast delivery, wide product selection, and significant savings for members.
“Life in the UAE moves fast, and our customers expect us to match that pace. Prime Day is where that speed and selection meet unbeatable value, with incredible deals and even more ways to save, exclusively for our members,” Martinelli said.
Amazon said Prime members can avail discounts of up to 30% on everyday essentials and grocery products from brands such as Nespresso, Lavazza, Ariel, and Dove. Through Amazon Now, customers can also access discounts of up to 70% on fresh produce, dairy, meat, frozen foods, and beverages, with delivery available in minutes.
The company said electronics shoppers can enjoy discounts of up to 40% on products from brands including Samsung, Sony, Lenovo, LG, PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and Canon. Amazon devices such as Echo, Kindle, and Ring will be available at discounts of up to 70%.
Beauty and personal care products from brands such as Dior, Lancôme, L’Oréal, Dyson, and OLAPLEX will be offered at discounts of up to 60%, while fashion and accessories from brands including Boss, Lacoste, Skechers, Michael Kors, Ray-Ban, and Samsonite will be available at up to 50% off.
In addition to product discounts, Prime members can save more through the Amazon Credit Card, which offers up to 6% cashback, as well as instant bank discounts and flexible payment options, including buy-now-pay-later and zero-interest installment plans.
Prime Day deals will be available exclusively to Prime members on Amazon UAE’s platform from June 24 through June 30.
