UAE fragrance growth puts storytelling in focus as Reef hits digital billboards

The growing value of the Middle East’s fragrance market is giving brands more room to experiment with how they present scents, with Reef Perfumes among the latest names using high-impact outdoor advertising to showcase its products in the UAE.

The brand’s Violet Musk and Pearl Musk fragrances have appeared across UAE digital billboards in a campaign that puts the two products at the centre of the visual.

The execution uses contrasting colour palettes for the two scents. Violet Musk is presented against cooler indigo and violet tones, while Pearl Musk appears in warmer magenta and golden hues. Floral elements, pearls, reflective surfaces and illuminated backgrounds complete the luxury-oriented visual treatment.

The campaign appeared on UAE digital screens in the fourth week of August 2026, at a time when fragrance continues to be one of the Middle East’s prominent beauty and luxury categories.

The regional perfume market was valued at an estimated $4.05 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 7.12% through 2034, according to market estimates. The UAE and Saudi Arabia are expected to remain important markets for the category, supported by established fragrance consumption and continued demand for premium products.

The growth is also creating a competitive environment in which fragrance brands are increasingly using digital and outdoor media to build visibility around individual products.

Reef’s latest UAE campaign reflects this approach, using product imagery, colour and lighting rather than extensive written messaging to differentiate two fragrances within a single outdoor execution.

With digital out-of-home media offering brands increasingly prominent spaces across the UAE, fragrance companies are likely to continue using visual-led campaigns to connect luxury positioning with product recognition.
