TOD, the streaming platform owned by beIN MEDIA GROUP, is positioning itself at the centre of football viewership in the MENA region as the FIFA World Cup 2026 approaches, with just two months to go before kick-off on June 11.

As the official streaming home of the tournament in MENA, TOD will deliver every match to audiences across the region, at a time when interest is surging due to a record Arab presence in the competition.

This year’s World Cup marks a milestone for regional football, with eight Arab nations — Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq — qualifying, the highest representation to date. The momentum follows Morocco’s historic semi-final run at the FIFA World Cup 2022, which significantly raised the profile of Arab teams globally.

Key regional players such as Achraf Hakimi, Mohamed Salah, Mousa Al-Taamari, and Akram Afif are expected to draw major viewership, alongside global stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé.

The group stage is set to feature several high-profile fixtures, including Morocco vs Brazil, Tunisia vs the Netherlands, Egypt vs Belgium, and matches involving Algeria and Jordan against Argentina.

Peter Mrkic, Managing Director of TOD-MENA, said: “From the first whistle to the final moments, FIFA World Cup 2026™ represents a defining chapter not only for global football, but for the Arab world. After proudly hosting the tournament for the first time, the region returns with its biggest-ever presence at the FIFA World Cup, featuring more Arab teams on the world stage than ever before. This is a moment of pride, progress, and possibility. Our role is to ensure fans experience every unforgettable moment of the tournament on the device of their choice through the most immersive, digital-first experience possible. ”

Ahead of the tournament, TOD said it is enhancing its platform with features such as 4K streaming, multilingual commentary, personalised content discovery, and TOD360 tools including interactive timelines, automated highlights, FanZones, and MultiView.

Launched in 2022, TOD is a subscription-based OTT platform offering premium sports and entertainment content across MENA and Turkey.
