Spotify has introduced a new Fitness experience in the United Arab Emirates, bringing guided workout content, curated playlists and wellness programming onto its platform as it expands beyond music, podcasts and audiobooks.

Starting today, both Free and Premium users in the UAE can access dozens of fitness playlists and workout content from creators including Yoga With Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting, Pilates Body By Raven, Abi Mills Wellness and Sophiereidfit.

As part of a new partnership with Peloton, Premium Platinum users in supported markets will also gain access to a growing library of more than 1,400 ad-free, on-demand classes included within their existing subscription.

The Peloton catalogue features mat-based sessions across strength, cardio, yoga and meditation, with instructors including Rebecca Kennedy, Ally Love and Rad Lopez. Spotify said no specialised equipment is required.

The company said the move builds on existing user behaviour, noting that nearly 70% of Premium subscribers work out monthly. It added that more than 150 million fitness playlists are currently active worldwide.

“For nearly two decades, Spotify has been the soundtrack to the world’s workouts,” said Roman Wasenmüller, VP, Global Head of Podcasts, Spotify. “But listening was only the beginning. Today, we are expanding Spotify to become a true daily wellness companion. By bringing thousands of creators and partners like Peloton directly into our video and audio ecosystem, we are investing in a future where Spotify isn’t just where you spend your time—it’s where you go to build momentum, improve your wellbeing, and get more out of every day.”

Users can access the new Fitness hub by opening the Spotify app on mobile, desktop or TV devices and searching for “fitness”, or by locating it under the Browse All section.

Workout content is primarily available in English, with select sessions offered in Spanish and German. Users can also download classes for offline access.

Spotify said the service is designed to work across devices, allowing users to begin a video workout on TV, continue with audio on mobile during a run, and later access guided recovery content through smart speakers.
