Global multi-asset fintech company Plus500 has appointed Muhammad Alamer, one of the UAE’s first registered financial influencers (finfluencers), as its brand ambassador in the country.
Alamer, who holds Registration No. 4 under the UAE’s finfluencer regulatory framework overseen by the Capital Market Authority (CMA), brings more than 17 years of experience in banking, wealth management and financial markets.
Before becoming a financial educator, Alamer worked with major UAE banks, including Emirates NBD, Mashreq, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Commercial Bank of Dubai, advising affluent and high-net-worth clients.
In a statement, Plus500 Group Chief Executive Officer David Zruia said Alamer combines institutional expertise with a strong focus on responsible financial education, making him a suitable representative for the company’s operations in the UAE.
Alamer currently provides market analysis through webinars, newsletters and his Arabic-language financial education platform, Majlis Mali, with a focus on commodities, global markets and macroeconomic trends. He is also pursuing doctoral research on the impact of artificial intelligence on productivity in the UAE’s financial sector.
Commenting on his appointment, Alamer said his goal is to help traders make informed decisions through education, disciplined risk management and a better understanding of market movements.
As Plus500’s UAE brand ambassador, he will lead public webinars, seminars and educational initiatives for traders globally, including customers of Plus500Gulf Securities, the company’s UAE-regulated subsidiary. He will also continue publishing market commentary and analysis on commodities and global economic trends.
