Nissan has announced a strategic partnership with CAFU to integrate on-demand fuel delivery and car care services into its digital platforms, marking a new phase in its connected mobility strategy in the Middle East.

The collaboration comes amid growing consumer demand for remote, at-home services and aims to enhance convenience and safety for customers. The services will be available through Nissan’s “MyNissan” and “Nissan Ownership” apps, transforming them into integrated platforms for managing vehicle-related needs.

The partnership builds on the rollout of Nissan’s Connected Car Services (CCS 2.0), first introduced in the region on the all-new Nissan Patrol. The company said the move reflects its transition from a traditional automaker to a provider of a broader digital ecosystem.

Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President, President – Middle East, KSA, CIS and India, Nissan and INFINITI, said, “At Nissan, we believe in Defying Ordinary, and that extends to how our customers interact with our vehicles, especially during times when safety and convenience are paramount. With the regional launch of CCS 2.0, we established the infrastructure for a connected future. Now, through this strategic integration with CAFU, we are unlocking the true value of that infrastructure. This partnership is just the beginning of a broader digital services roadmap where our apps become the remote control for a seamless ownership experience, allowing our customers to manage their vehicle’s needs safely from home, starting with our flagship Patrol”.

Under the agreement, Nissan customers in the UAE will be able to order fuel and car wash services directly through the apps without needing separate accounts. The companies plan to expand the offering in phases through 2026.

In the next stage, vehicles equipped with CCS 2.0 will be able to monitor fuel levels and notify users via the app when refuelling is needed, offering one-click service requests. Future plans include a fully automated system in which the vehicle can signal CAFU to dispatch fuel without user intervention, enabling a contactless and seamless experience.

Rashid Al Ghurair, Founder and CEO of CAFU, said, “At CAFU, our mission has always been to challenge the status quo, ensuring our customers reclaim their most invaluable resource, which is time. This partnership with Nissan marks a pivotal milestone in that journey, following an intensive period of investment in revamping our supply and technology to relaunch a more seamless experience that our community has come to love. By integrating directly into Nissan’s connected ecosystem, we are not only ushering in a predictive and frictionless era of mobility but also placing the UAE at the absolute forefront of global innovation. We are building a future where the vehicle intelligently manages its own needs, ensuring it is ‘always ready’ so our customers can focus entirely on the journey ahead.”

The service is currently available to eligible customers in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. To mark the launch, users will receive a one-month complimentary CAFU Go subscription, which includes priority delivery and car wash benefits.

Nissan said CCS 2.0 enables features such as remote engine start, climate control, and real-time vehicle diagnostics, while also allowing users to book service appointments and locate dealerships through the app.

The company plans to extend the connected services ecosystem to other models in its regional lineup later this year.
