Google is preparing to roll out a suite of new measurement tools aimed at helping advertisers adapt to an increasingly AI-driven marketing landscape, as reported by MediaPost.

Gaurav Bhaya, vice president and general manager of measurement at Google, announced in a Tuesday blog post that the company will introduce new features at its upcoming Marketing Live event, integrating capabilities across Google Analytics and its Meridian marketing-mix modeling platform.

Among the updates is an enhanced Data Manager feature, including a visual map view designed to show how data flows across platforms such as BigQuery, Google Drive and third-party services, giving marketers a clearer understanding of campaign performance.

Google also plans to expand data integration, enabling advertisers to combine core tracking signals with additional inputs such as store sales, providing a more comprehensive view of customer behaviour.

The company will upgrade its tagging infrastructure through Google Tag Manager, simplifying setup without requiring code changes while improving data collection and site performance.

To strengthen measurement accuracy, Google is introducing tools focused on causal analysis, including “Meridian GeoX,” an open-source solution that allows advertisers to run geographic experiments to determine which campaigns drive incremental growth.

In addition, “Meridian Studio,” a cloud-based platform, will enable enterprises to build and scale high-volume marketing models more efficiently.

The move reflects a broader shift in the advertising industry toward more precise, data-driven measurement as artificial intelligence reshapes campaign planning and execution.
