The Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority has launched a new tourism campaign aimed at strengthening Bahrain’s position as a preferred destination for visitors from Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The campaign promotes a broad calendar of entertainment, cultural, sporting and family-focused activities taking place across the kingdom during the upcoming season.

Officials said the initiative coincides with a series of live concerts and theatrical productions being organised in collaboration with Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre, alongside festivals and entertainment events, including the third edition of the Bahrain Summer Festival at Exhibition World Bahrain.

Visitors will also have access to shopping festivals, family attractions and sports events hosted across malls and tourism centres around the country.

Sara Ahmed Buhiji, chief executive of the authority, said the initiative was designed to reinforce Bahrain’s appeal as an accessible destination for GCC families and regional travellers seeking short holidays and weekend breaks.

She said the campaign combines entertainment, culture, sports, dining and shopping experiences while highlighting Bahrain’s tourism infrastructure and Gulf hospitality.

The campaign will also include travel packages and hotel promotions developed with hospitality and tourism sector partners, alongside shopping offers and entertainment activities targeting regional travellers seeking nearby destinations with varied attractions.
