Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has appointed global socially-led creative agency We Are Social to handle social media strategy and creative development for its Free Zone and Hospitality divisions.

The partnership will cover strategic planning, creative development, content production and community management, aimed at strengthening the visibility and audience engagement of both business units across local and regional markets.

For DWTC Free Zone, the agency will develop platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, positioning it as a business ecosystem supporting entrepreneurs, start-ups and established companies beyond its licensing and workspace services.

The Hospitality division’s strategy will focus on showcasing the people, expertise and experiences behind its catering and hospitality operations through chef-led content, docuseries, creator-hosted gatherings and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

Marc Haslam, Vice President – Marketing Communications at DWTC, said: “As we continue to strengthen the positioning and visibility of DWTC’s diverse business portfolio, our focus is on creating more distinctive and engaging content that reflects the strengths of each business. We Are Social brings a strong combination of strategic thinking and creative expertise to help us tell these stories in fresh and compelling ways, while building stronger connections with our audiences”.

Aurelien Fonteneau, Managing Director at We Are Social, said, “This is exactly the kind of partnership we love: ambitious and rich with creative opportunity. DWTC is more than an icon of our city. It’s a place where business, culture, hospitality and ambition meet every day. Our role is to take that energy and translate it into social-first stories that people actually want to watch, share and be part of.”
