ME by Meliá Dubai has launched a new initiative in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism aimed at supporting local entrepreneurs and homegrown brands.
The initiative, called “ME Dubai Supports Local”, will run from May 7 to May 10 at the hotel’s atrium, where 40 complimentary showcase spaces will be offered to local businesses, the hotel said in a statement.
The programme will provide participating brands with an opportunity to present their products to visitors in the hotel’s central atrium, which will be transformed into a marketplace featuring local fashion, fragrances and other artisan products.
Brands selected to participate will also receive a 30% discount on hotel stays and food and beverage offerings during the event.
The initiative was developed by the hotel’s director of marketing and sales, with support from its management team, and is designed to spotlight local brands and entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs and local businesses can apply by submitting a brief introduction to their business by email. Registration will remain open until April 29.
ME by Meliá Dubai said the initiative reflects its commitment to supporting creativity, culture and collaboration within the local community.
Located in Dubai’s Burj Khalifa district within the Opus building designed by Zaha Hadid, the hotel features 93 rooms and 13 residences. It has been recognised by the MICHELIN Guide 2025 with a One Key distinction.
