US-Dutch-Palestinian supermodel Gigi Hadid is preparing to take her fashion label Guest in Residence into a new category, with the brand set to unveil its fall 2026 collection on Aug. 27.
The label, founded by Hadid in 2022, teased the upcoming collection on Instagram with a seven-second video featuring horses running across a ranch pasture, framed by pine forests and mountains. The clip carried the words “Fall 2026” and “Launching August 27,” without revealing any of the garments.
The new season marks a significant shift for Guest in Residence as it moves beyond its established knitwear offering to launch its first women’s denim collection. The denim range was developed with US denim designer Benjamin Talley Smith, whose previous collaborations include Khaite, Madewell and Rag & Bone, according to WWD.
“Denim has always been at the heart of how I dress — it’s what I live in alongside cashmere; that combination has become my uniform,” Hadid told WWD.

The debut denim collection comprises four silhouettes designed around different aspects of everyday dressing. The Traveler is a high-waisted, wide-leg style, while the Everyday features a relaxed straight-leg cut. The Weekender offers a tapered silhouette with a raw hem, and the Workday takes inspiration from traditional carpenter jeans, featuring double-knee patches and a hammer loop.
Hadid serves as the brand’s creative director and initially built Guest in Residence around 100 percent cashmere knitwear. The label has since expanded its physical presence with stores in New York and Los Angeles, alongside its online business and wholesale partnerships.
Since its launch, Guest in Residence has also attracted a high-profile celebrity following. Taylor Swift was spotted wearing a cashmere pique polo from the brand in New York in June, while Hadid’s sister, model Bella Hadid, has worn a wool-blend cable cardigan from the label. Hailey Bieber also attended the opening of Guest in Residence’s Los Angeles store.
The denim expansion comes as Hadid continues to maintain a prominent presence across the global fashion industry. In July, she walked in Balenciaga’s Fall 2026 couture show in Paris, marking her first couture appearance in four years. She appeared in a feathered hood that left only her face visible.
Earlier this year, Hadid fronted a Miu Miu leather goods campaign photographed by Steven Meisel. In May, she also took part in a Victoria’s Secret casting call in Miami as a mentor and judge.
With its first move into denim, Guest in Residence is now broadening the product universe beyond the cashmere category that established the brand, while retaining the everyday, wardrobe-focused aesthetic associated with Hadid’s personal style.
