GameExpo 2026 will take place from June 5 to 7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, as organizers prepare to expand the event with new gaming zones, esports competitions and interactive entertainment experiences.
Tickets starting at AED29 remain available, while ticket holders will also have a chance to win a Jetour T2 Luxury Plus vehicle sponsored by Elite Group Holding.
This year’s edition will span Exhibition Halls 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the venue, adding new halls and larger-scale attractions covering gaming, esports, anime, cosplay, retro arcades, family entertainment, food and creator culture.
Organizers introduce anime and motorsport-themed zones
New attractions include the Neo Tokyo District, a cyberpunk-inspired anime area featuring themed installations and interactive experiences.
Other additions include the Amazon Battle Arena, an indoor laser tag battlefield, and the Jetour Velocity Garage motorsport zone with racing simulators and driving experiences.
Organizers said visitors will also have access to more than 300 gaming devices and simulators across over 10 themed zones.
Returning attractions feature cosplay and retro gaming
Returning attractions include the Main Stage Arena for esports tournaments and cosplay showcases, the Gaming District with more than 100 gaming devices, and the Dubai Cosplay Championship with a prize pool of AED50,000.
Additional returning areas include a Family Zone, a Retro Zone featuring classic arcade games including Pac-Man, Tetris and Donkey Kong, as well as Talabat food and beverage zones and The Narrows creative marketplace.
Dubai strengthens position in regional gaming sector
Muna Al Falasi, director of esports and games strategy at Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, said the 2026 edition would be “bigger and more dynamic than before,” with expanded experiences across esports, cosplay, anime, retro gaming and creator communities.
Organizers said the event comes as Dubai continues to strengthen its position as a regional and international hub for gaming, esports and interactive entertainment.
