Dubai Basketball has partnered with Red Bull, naming the energy drink brand its Official Energy Drink Partner for the 2026-27 season as the club looks to expand its fan engagement initiatives and support the growth of basketball in the city.
The partnership was announced through a high-altitude basketball stunt featuring Dubai Basketball players Dzanan Musa and Justin Anderson. The duo performed a dunk 303 metres above Dubai, on the helipad of Mandarin Oriental Downtown Hotel at Al Wasl Tower, in what the partners described as the world’s highest-altitude basketball dunk.
Musa delivered an alley-oop pass for Anderson to complete the dunk against the backdrop of Dubai’s skyline. The stunt was followed by a display of 600 illuminated drones forming the logos of Red Bull and Dubai Basketball.
Beyond the promotional launch, the partnership will include community initiatives, digital campaigns and fan engagement activities throughout the season. Red Bull will support Dubai Basketball’s efforts to create dedicated spaces where local communities can play and engage with the sport.

The two brands will also introduce interactive initiatives, including fan voting and digital content across their respective platforms, giving supporters opportunities to participate in activities around the team.
Dubai Basketball President Dejan Kamenjašević said, “Red Bull and Dubai Basketball share a belief in pushing boundaries and creating experiences that people remember.”
He added, “this partnership gives us the opportunity to bring that energy directly to our fans and the wider community, creating new ways for people to experience basketball and be part of what we are building in Dubai.”
Red Bull will also feature across the club’s matchday and training environments and collaborate with the team on content and communications during the season.
The partnership comes as Dubai Basketball enters its third season. The club, which describes itself as the first and only sports franchise representing Dubai and the UAE internationally, competes in the EuroLeague and ABA League as it seeks to build a stronger basketball following in the city.
