Dubai-based strategic advisory and investment firm In2 Consulting has acquired a 50% stake in Hospitality Net, the world’s largest B2B media platform for the global hospitality industry, in a move aimed at accelerating the platform’s long-term growth and artificial intelligence (AI) ambitions.
Hospitality Net said the investment will support its next phase of expansion while allowing the company to maintain its editorial independence. The platform will continue to be led by its founder and CEO, Henri Roelings, with strategic support from Anne Bleeker and Floor Bleeker. The company will also establish a new headquarters in Dubai.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Hospitality Net serves hospitality professionals in over 200 countries and attracts more than 500,000 unique users every month. The platform connects hotel operators, owners, developers, suppliers, technology providers and other industry stakeholders.
“Bringing together our two great teams marks an exciting new chapter for Hospitality Net,” said Henri Roelings. “Anne and Floor bring an exceptional combination of industry expertise, global networks, and strategic vision, and together we will deliver true added value in securing Hospitality Net’s key development plans for the future.”
Floor Bleeker said the investment reflects confidence in the platform’s long-term potential.
“This investment is rooted in our deep belief in Hospitality Net’s unique role as the industry’s global knowledge backbone. It’s already the most trusted B2B media platform in hospitality, and we see significant opportunities to expand its impact,” she said.
The investment follows the recent launch of Hospitality Net’s redesigned platform, which has been built for AI-driven content discovery, an enhanced user experience and future regional editions in local languages.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company plans to launch Hospitality Net LABS later this year, a dedicated initiative aimed at broadening its services beyond media and content into knowledge and intelligence offerings for the global hotel industry.
Anne Bleeker said the partnership is intended to strengthen the platform’s long-term role in the hospitality sector.
“Hospitality Net has played a vital role in connecting the industry’s knowledge and people for three decades, and our goal is to help scale its reach and relevance. Having spent all of our careers in this vibrant industry, this is a great opportunity to give back to the sector and to help build a lasting legacy for the next generation of hospitality leaders,” she said.
