du wins global accolades for brand, digital transformation efforts

UAE telecom and digital services provider du has secured two international recognitions, highlighting its brand-building efforts and expanding role in the country’s digital transformation.

The company won the Gold Media Award for Best Use of Online at the Festival of Media Global Awards for its ‘Unstoppable Network’ campaign, marking the first time du has received a Gold Media Award at the event.

The campaign, which also holds the Guinness World Record for the longest promotional advertisement livestream, ran for 30 hours, 31 minutes and 43 seconds in April 2025. It featured a group of content creators exploring lesser-known destinations across the UAE while showcasing du’s 5G network capabilities, including its speed, coverage and connectivity.

In a separate recognition, du was named in Fast Company Middle East’s Brands That Matter 2026 list. The annual list honours brands that have made a significant impact on consumers and communities across the region. du was recognised in both the Telecom and Enterprise categories, making it the only winner in the Telecom category and one of two brands recognised in the Enterprise category.

According to Fast Company Middle East, du was recognised in the Telecom category for evolving beyond its traditional role as a connectivity provider into a broader digital services operator. The publication also cited the company’s investments in 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, fintech and enterprise solutions as key factors behind its recognition in the Enterprise category.
