Alexandre Slim passes away

Lebanese news daily The Daily Star reported the passing away of Alexandre Slim, one of the most prominent advertising CEOs in Lebanon yesterday.

“With much sorrow, we inform you of the loss of a great Advertising man and a former IAA board member, Mr. Alexandre Slim. Our heartfelt condolence to his family, we pray God gives them all the strength in overcoming the irreplaceable loss of Mr. Slim today,” said an obituary by the International Advertising Association (IAA).

In 1985, Slim founded Pimo Group, which today is known as Lowe Pimo.

The funeral will take place, Wednesday at 2 pm, and the condolences will be held from Wednesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., both at Saint Nicolas Church in Ashrafieh.
