Saudi sporting competitions set to air on SSC for the 2021/22 season include the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Pro League, the King Cup, and the Saudi Super Cup
MBC Media Solutions (MMS), the in-house commercial advertising and sales unit of MBC GROUP – the largest and leading media company in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) – has been appointed the exclusive advertising representative for the brand-new Saudi Sports Company (SSC) network of TV and digital channels.
SSC is set to air the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s top sporting competitions for the 2021/22 season, including the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Pro League, the King Cup and the Saudi Super Cup.
SSC will also broadcast regional/international tournaments, such as the AFC Asian Cup, the primary association football competition featuring national teams of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Rights include the broadcast of the AFC Asian Qualifiers – Road to Qatar, the 2023 AFC Asian Cup to be held in China, and the AFC Champions League, amongst others.
Under this agreement, MMS will provide unrivalled expertise in both digital and broadcast marketing and advertising, providing exclusive opportunities and solutions for local and regional businesses to assist their goals for the coming period.
