INSEAD appoints Houbara Communications as UAE PR partner

INSEAD said on Tuesday it has appointed Houbara Communications as its public relations partner in the United Arab Emirates, as the global business school seeks to expand its visibility and engagement in the region.

The partnership comes as INSEAD continues to build on its presence in the Middle East following the establishment of its Abu Dhabi campus in 2017, launched in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge and Abu Dhabi Global Market.

INSEAD said Houbara will support its communications and thought leadership efforts in the UAE, with a focus on business education, leadership and innovation, including the impact of artificial intelligence on management and organisations.

The school, which positions itself as “the business school for the world”, has increasingly focused on the Middle East as demand grows for executive education and leadership programmes linked to economic diversification and innovation agendas.

Houbara Communications, a UAE-based agency, has worked with education institutions and organizations across the region, engaging audiences that include policymakers, academics, students and industry leaders.

“We’re proud to deepen our relationship with INSEAD, a school that consistently sets the benchmark for global business education,” said Loretta Ahmed, founder and chief executive of Houbara Communications.

Rachel Maguer, executive director of communications at INSEAD, said the agency’s regional insight would support the school’s efforts to strengthen its footprint and relevance in the UAE.

The appointment reflects a broader push by international education institutions to sharpen their communications strategies in the Gulf, where governments and private sector employers are investing heavily in skills development, leadership training and future-focused education.
