Jeep unveils ‘7 Wonders of the UAE’ to mark National Day

To mark the UAE’s 54th National Day, the Jeep brand has unveiled The 7 Wonders of the UAE, a list of landmarks selected through a nationwide campaign inviting public nominations.

The initiative called on residents and visitors to nominate locations they consider among the country’s most remarkable natural, cultural and architectural sites. According to Jeep, responses were received from across all seven emirates, reflecting what the brand described as a strong public connection to the country’s landscapes and heritage.

Explaining the concept behind the campaign, Yara Maroun, Head of Marketing at Jeep Middle East, said the idea was inspired by the symbolic connection between Jeep’s seven-slot grille and the seven emirates. “Both represent heritage, endurance, unity and a spirit of discovery,” she said.

Following a two-week nomination process, Jeep compiled the most frequently mentioned locations to create the final list, presented in no particular order.

The selected sites include the Rub’ al Khali desert; Mangrove National Park in Abu Dhabi; Al Wathba Fossil Dunes; Mleiha Archaeological Centre; the Cultural Sites of Al Ain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque; and Burj Khalifa.

Jeep said the list reflects the UAE’s diversity, spanning natural environments, archaeological sites and modern landmarks. Anton Marais and Pablo Tesio, Senior and Associate Creative Directors at Publicis Middle East, said the campaign aimed to broaden perceptions of the UAE beyond deserts and urban skylines by highlighting its varied landscapes and history.

The brand said the campaign aligns with Jeep’s focus on exploration and adventure, values it associates with both its vehicles and the UAE’s geography.
