Hia Hub, Riyadh’s ultimate lifestyle forum hosted by Hia Magazine, has been missing from Saudi’s social calendar this November. Traditionally held around the same time since its launch in 2021, the event was expected to be held last week, following the same schedule in Q4 as its four previous editions.
The event website still carries a message that reads “more details coming soon,” while the forum’s Instagram account has not been updated since November 2024.
Some industry sources told Communicate that the event has been “silently cancelled”.
However, a Hia Magazine representative based in Dubai said that event was postponed to February 2026. But there is no update on the website or any social media channel about the new date as of the story going live.
The event organizers, Hia Magazine, one of Saudi Research and Media Group’s key lifestyle media titles, have remained quiet about a possible cancellation or a new date. Our request for comment sent to Hia Hub organizers went unanswered.
On the event’s Instagram account, the last post wrapping up last year’s successful event mentions a total of 10,000 attendees, 50 speakers, 35 talks, and multiple workshops and masterclasses. Retail space with as many as 55 brands was reserved for fashion and beauty industry names.
The event was not just a forum but a platform for “creativity and dialogue in Saudi’s fashion ecosystem” that “celebrates art, culture and innovation and is designed to inspire the next generation of fashion and beauty entrepreneurs.”
On the occasion of last year’s edition, Mai Badr, Editor-in-Chief of Hia Magazine, was quoted in a statement saying: “Since its launch, Hia Hub has inspired, educated, and delighted audiences with its specially curated program, featuring a unique blend of thought-provoking discussions and fun, immersive events, and experiences. Hia Hub is a platform that connects people and fosters conversations and creativity.”
