McDonald’s UAE is bringing back its annual children’s book initiative with a new limited-edition collection this Ramadan, combining the joy of reading with the spirit of giving.
Available at McDonald’s UAE restaurants and on the McDonald’s app for AED 5, all proceeds will be donated to the Red Crescent Medical Center in Sharjah, reinforcing McDonald’s UAE’s ongoing commitment to supporting those in need, McDonald’s said in a statement.
The 2026 book collection introduces four new stories created in partnership with authors Adel Hageb and Muhra Alsuwaidi. Each story takes young readers on a thoughtful journey, reflecting values of kindness, generosity, forgiveness, and togetherness, all at the heart of the Holy Month.
The collection includes The Boy with the Golden Heart, centered on compassion and selfless kindness; The Forgiveness Tree, about forgiveness, care, and supporting one another; The Gift of Gratitude, which encourages children to appreciate the blessing of food and be mindful of those less fortunate; and The Spring Game, a warm, playful story celebrating teamwork, empathy, and shared joy. Together, the stories spark meaningful family conversations while reinforcing positive values during Ramadan.
Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Junaibi, Manager of the Red Crescent Medical Center, said: “This initiative supports the Center’s medical programs and helps provide essential healthcare services, reaching patients from communities who might otherwise go without care.”
Dr. Al Junaibi added, “We are proud to continue our partnership with McDonald’s UAE, which strengthens our ability to deliver on our humanitarian mission and create meaningful impact within the community.”
Walid Fakih, CEO of McDonald’s UAE, said, ‘Our Ramadan book collection brings meaningful stories to life while giving families the chance to support a cause that truly matters. By working with Emirates Red Crescent and talented creatives, we hope to inspire and spark curiosity in young readers.”
He added, “We look forward to continuing this journey with Emirates Red Crescent and making a meaningful difference to the local community.”
