Finch acquires Wizard Marketing to launch ‘Total Search’ offering

Finch Performance Marketing has acquired Wizard Marketing, a digital agency known for its technical SEO capabilities, in a move aimed at integrating paid and organic search into a single growth offering branded as “Total Search.”

The acquisition brings together Finch’s paid media automation platform with Wizard Marketing’s expertise in search engine optimization, web development and content services. The combined entity will operate under Finch, led by newly appointed CEO Dave Valentine, and will focus on mid-market and enterprise brands.

Finch is known for its paid media automation technology, including its proprietary Finch Engine, which uses artificial intelligence to optimise advertising spend across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Amazon. The company said the acquisition addresses growing client demand for a more unified approach to search, linking paid media performance with organic visibility and site optimisation.

Wizard Marketing’s SEO services will now be integrated into Finch’s broader offering, allowing clients to manage paid search, organic search and website performance under a single strategy. The company said the move is intended to eliminate operational silos between PPC and SEO teams, which often operate independently despite targeting the same search results.

“This acquisition represents a major evolution in Finch’s service model,” the company said, describing the combined capabilities as a full-funnel growth engine designed to improve performance across the search engine results page (SERP).

Commenting on the acquisition, Dave Valentine, CEO of Finch, said: “The era of fragmented marketing is over. Brands can no longer afford to have a PPC vendor who doesn’t speak to their SEO team. Founded more than 15 years ago, Finch has positioned itself as a performance-focused ad-tech company, managing large-scale paid media campaigns for global clients. Wizard Marketing, meanwhile, has built a reputation around transparency-led SEO practices and technical optimisation.

Finch said Wizard Marketing’s organic growth services will be made immediately available to existing clients, marking a shift from a platform-led model to what it describes as a comprehensive growth operating system.
