The leading global sports and entertainment media organization beIN MEDIA GROUP is displaying its digital transformation journey at the inaugural Mobile World Congress Doha 2025, unveiling cloud-based and AI-enabled broadcasting technologies as it charts a path toward becoming a technology-driven broadcaster.

beIN’s participation in the two-day event, which opened today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre, marks the first time the MWC series has been held in the Middle East and North Africa region. The landmark gathering brings together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to accelerate digital transformation across the economy.

The media conglomerate is demonstrating how it is transforming audience engagement with live content amid a profound shift in the global sports and entertainment landscape.

Central to its showcase are two digital platforms: the newly launched beIN STREAM, a cloud-enabled streaming service powered by a compact Wi-Fi cloud connector, and TOD, its award-winning OTT platform. Both exemplify beIN’s commitment to developing next-generation capabilities designed to enhance live and on-demand sports experiences.

beIN STREAM represents a significant departure from traditional broadcasting infrastructure. The subscription-based service utilizes dedicated streaming devices and moves all processing to the cloud, eliminating the need for complex on-premise hardware.

This shift enables rapid updates, advanced graphics, and AI-enhanced content delivery, whilst allowing faster deployment, greater flexibility, and broader market reach. TOD, meanwhile, continues to enhance its offering through ongoing advancements in personalization and platform design, delivering high-quality live and on-demand sports and entertainment content.

“MWC Doha 2025 provides a powerful platform for us to share beIN’s journey to becoming a technology-driven broadcaster,” said Israel Esteban, Chief Technology Officer at beIN MEDIA GROUP.

“We continue to align our work with the ambitions of Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly in advancing knowledge, innovation, and digital capability.”

The technologies on display underscore beIN’s long-term strategy to invest in artificial intelligence, interactivity, and personalization to create richer engagement opportunities for global audiences. Features including multi-view streaming, real-time statistics overlays, dynamic player profiles, and AI-driven predictions are central to the media organization’s digital innovation roadmap.

beIN’s participation at MWC Doha reinforces its ongoing contribution to Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Digital Agenda 2030, supporting the country’s ambitions to develop a diversified, knowledge-driven economy through innovation and digital capability building. The organization is exhibiting at Stand C20 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
