Al Arabia wins UAE mall advertising contracts, Saudi airport billboard deal

Out-of-home advertising company Al Arabia has secured major advertising contracts across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, strengthening its regional presence and expanding its footprint in high-traffic public spaces.

In the UAE, the company has signed three advertising agreements with Majid Al Futtaim Properties, granting it licences to operate digital advertising screens across eight shopping malls. The contracts are valued at AED 53 million, excluding VAT.

The malls covered under the agreements include Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Me’aisem, City Centre Sharjah, City Centre Zahia, City Centre Ajman, and City Centre Fujairah. Al Arabia will manage and utilise the digital screens for promotional and commercial advertising across these locations.

Separately, the company has also secured a 10-year contract in Saudi Arabia to establish, operate and maintain advertising billboards at 18 airports across the Kingdom. These include Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Qassim, Taif International Airport, AlUla International Airport, Hail International Airport, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan, Najran Regional Airport, along with several other domestic airports.

According to a disclosure to the stock exchange, the Saudi airport project will be executed under either a revenue-sharing model or a minimum guaranteed arrangement valued at around SAR 120 million over the contract period, excluding VAT, depending on which option delivers higher returns.

Al Arabia said the contracts align with its strategy to expand beyond its home market, deepen its presence in premium, high-footfall locations, and grow its out-of-home advertising portfolio across the region.
