Assembly Appoints Ravi Rao as MENA CEO to Drive Regional Growth

Assembly has named Ravi Rao as Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), reinforcing its leadership structure as the agency accelerates expansion across the region.

The appointment comes amid increased investment by Assembly in MENA, where the agency is expanding client partnerships, strengthening its footprint in key markets, and building operational capacity to support long-term regional growth.

Ravi assumes the CEO role with a mandate to drive growth execution, expand into new markets, and streamline regional operations. His focus will include enhancing cross-market alignment, strengthening delivery capabilities, and refining an operating model suited to the pace and complexity of the MENA landscape.

He will work closely with Zubair Siddiqui, Chief Operating Officer, and Kinloch Magowan, Managing Partner. While Siddiqui and Magowan continue to oversee client operations, commercial strategy, and organizational development, Ravi will lead the broader regional growth agenda, deepen client relationships, and ensure operational discipline as the business scales.

“MENA is a market where execution speed and consistency matter,” said Rick Acampora, Global CEO at Assembly. “Putting Ravi in the CEO role strengthens how we operate, how we scale, and how we deliver for clients across the region.”

Ravi said, “This region rewards teams that can move with speed and still deliver with rigor. My focus is to keep building an organization that is deeply connected across markets, exceptionally strong in execution, and designed to help clients grow with confidence in an increasingly complex environment.”

Ravi brings more than three decades of leadership experience across the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Over his career, he has led agencies through phases of expansion, transformation and competitive growth, building organisations designed to perform in dynamic and fast-evolving markets.

Assembly’s MENA operations span major hubs including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, serving both regional and international brands. The region remains central to the agency’s global growth plans, supported by continued investment in leadership and talent. The agency was recently named Campaign Middle East Digital Agency of the Year for 2025.
